I recently read an article in the Hamilton Spectator, in it ,there was a couple that where used as an example of what; I guess? is now the norm;in today's Financial environment. These people are the poor; and have been around for years.According to the Spectator they make over $50;000 a year, and they still can not manage to make ends meet; and it is for this reason; I think they are of poor mentality,,if a person or family can not make it on $50,000 a year than they need to take a look inside and figure it out.If I have $1,000,000 in the bank I now barely make that much in interest.,so in principle these people are millionaires The poor are the poor; the rich are the rich;and this is based on what goes on in the "head".If you can not live on that amount no matter how much you make ;your finished."I suggest math lessons"or reign in your spending habits and strech your$,but most of all take control."Money is all in the head"
The article was in September 25Th paper and I do not think that it should have been run.

Basic Banking
No matter who you are ; you are going to want to cash a check once in a while .Typically; and I know that this is common knowledge; there are two choices; going into the Bank and depositing the check directly to the teller;or going to the Bank machine.I was for the first time ;that I can remember asked to have a check certified;by one of my banks ;that I deal with the T.D. I was really surprised by the Banks response;as my loyalties are with all Banking institutions ; the check that was in question was for only $1500; and after talking to the main branch and also to head office; the matter was resolved in my favour. The T.D bank is only doing its job at the branch level; however the Banks are becoming more;and more cautious ;and although the banks have been doing very well in Canada; there is no doubt in my mind that after talking to Bankers from all five majors; that things are starting to change at the branch levels .Fraud and bad checks; are becoming a real issue and concern due to the levels of continues unemployment ;and lack of accountability on behave of the presenter of the check.I am in full support of the Banks ;after all they are my partners.
Unemployment in Canada is in my view ;going to 20% or higher treat your Banker well I believe your going to need him or her.
